Item id: 69

This is a fantastic 11/12th century Pagan Buddha head made of clay or terracotta. It was given to me as a gift from a collector from whom I had bought over 20,000 dollars of Buddhist art through the years. There are traces of original lacquer, and a wonderful patina. The finishing work is exceptional, and is of the quality found on fine original pieces. The sculpting is strong, and the condition is excellent. No significant losses (except the body of course). Three and a half inches, seven with the attached stand. It has a circumference of close to 8 inches.
