Superb 17/18thC Western Tibetn Bodhisattva of Long Life. Cast in an uncommon way, but one I've seen from West Tibet from this period before. Sits 6.5 inches tall. I believe Base, legs, torso, arms, head and headdress, and bowl of long life were all cast separately and carefully put together. The entire thing was then lacquered and gilding (some remains)Amazing wide crown that is in perfect balance with the overall sculpture, and at the same time makes it stand out from most any of its counterparts. A special piece.
I would consider selling, but would not be inexpensive.
