Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Nice sized 18/19thC Nepalese Tara. She shows evidence of generations of devotion. She was re-consecrated long ago in Nepal, with a piece of wood used to seal the contents in to the bottom rather than the traditional copper plate. She sits 0ver 8 inches tall by 6 inches at the widest, and is extremely heavy.
