Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)

Large ancient (Chinese?) burial building. Stands 10 inches tall, dimensions of edge of roof are 7 x 10 inches. Came originally with 3 small crude ones that were a fraction this size-this was the star of the group. Unsure of original culture or age, but At least 500 years+ (and likely much older) Purchased at auction from Bohnam's in San Francisco in the 1990'a when they were de-accessioning items out of the basement of the San Francisco Asian Art museum, which was preparing to move to its new location. Many of the items had museum numbers on them including the small buildings- this one did not.
