EARLY Hindu Shrine of Vishnu and Attendants. Figures are solid cast, though they (and the back-plate) are incredibly thin (hard to see inside the back)- they appear to have been made at an early time when metal was scarce. Stands a full 7.75 inches tall. Has Los Angeles County Museum of Art loan collection label affixed to the underside. Typical ritual wear, though the deeply serene expressions on the faces still shine brightly. Powerful spiritual art.
