Item id: 699

Fantastic, early Nepalese bronze Jambala or Kubera, who is often thought of as the deity who embodies wealth and prosperity. He has his mongoose who spits out gold coins. He has thick residue from ritual use- this could be removed, although I would never do it. I purchased this from a gentleman who lived in Nepal with his wife, where they worked on blindness prevention projects. It has a very strong spiritual feeling to it. A delightful and very uncommon item. Sits 3 and 3/8 inches tall.
