This is an extremely fine "Classic" Angkor Wat era Naga Buddha with a beautiful "Javerman" face (supposedly the face of a king, who had his face emulated during his reign). I've seen very close examples to this particular piece in the high end auction catalogues. Wonderfully cast and sculpted. Great old patina with remains of gilding. Does not appear to have been buried. Far finer than any other Naga Buddha I have had- the photos were taken with an old camera and do not fully show the finesse of the piece.
