This is an authentic Fang style Northern Thai bronze Buddha. They have a very distinctive look to their faces, and are often mis-categorized as being from Laos. Fang (now a city you can find on the map) was once one of the Kingdoms in the area which is now Northern Thailand. (Note: there are many copies of this style out there, so be careful ). Sits 8.5 inches tall on his base, which is more elaborate than typical bases on this type of Buddha. Look in to his face…………..
