Superb antique Laos or Thai standing wood Buddha. He has a smile as wide as the world. From a wealthy San Francisco socialite, collected in the 1960’s- this quality and condition is extremely difficult to come by these days. With the exception of the loss of the finial, the condition is outstanding. The quality of the carving is uncommonly fine. Nice size-stands 9.5 inches tall.
