Very fine richly gilded solid silver figural sculpture of a baby. The figure alone is 2 inches tall, height on the rock is 2-5/8 inches. The plinth holding him onto the base is not original and looks to be a modern nail. Rock is worn smooth and appears to have been with it a very long time. Unsure how to date, but based on the rich gilding, quality casting, and overall look, I believe this is at least 200 years old and possibly much earlier. One bent finger and some surface wear, otherwise near perfect. Extremely rare in solid silver. The eyes look to have been originally inlaid.
