Early solid ceramic (?) Korean Bodhisattva. Stands a good size at 9 1/8 inches tall. Looks to be quite old, probably several hundred years-maybe older. Covered with a black lacquer. One hand chipped and some surface wear, otherwise excellent. Collected more than 50 years ago in Korea by a U.S. Korean veteran war veteran in the early 1950's during the Korean War. He was told it was almost 1,000 years old.
