This is a rare late Pagan/Pinya bronze Burmese Buddha from the 13th or 14th centuries. The base is highly unusual and has originally had an additional figure or figures attached to it. There is expectable surface wear, some losses and extensive original casting flaws, and damage/loss to the base. The face is in deep meditation. I've seen one other like him, item # 5317. He sits 7 inches tall with the custom base, 6 inches for the statue alone.
