Extremely rare Korean Buddha of the future. Probably a period (pre-10th century example), though I have not seen an example cast out of this type of alloy before (a very heavy alloy which probably contains lead and silver). Collected by previous owner's parents when they lived in Korea in the 1950's. 2.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches on custom stand. Traces of gilding. Note the crispness and delicacy of the robes and other casting details.
