Item id: 7477
16/17th Tibetan bronze Buddha with remains of gilding. Also some remains of lacquer/polychrome in the eyes. 5 Well cast, not as finely finished. The surface would have originally been covered with gilding and polychrome that would have left it smooth. Great face in deep meditation. Sits 5.25 inches tall. Rare mudra. From an old Canadian collection. Something jingling around inside (re-consecrated I believe)
