Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Very old teapot, with animals and mythical creatures. Came with a paper (which I lost) saying it was found after an earthquake in the Indonesian area in the 1870s after an eruption. I know nothing about this. 5.25 inches tall with lid, a diameter of approximately 9 inches. The previous owner thought it was Chinese.
