Large Japanese Bronze Buddha. Nearly temple sized, it has an inscription which dates it to the 14th year of Taisho (1925). While only 91 years old, at this size and with this face it is still a rare and desirable Buddha-in 20+ years I have seen very few large antique Japanese bronze Buddhas of this type for sale. Size is 15.25 inches tall,16.75 on custom stand. Width at knees is 16 inches. Stand measures 16 inches wide x 13.5 inches deep. Radiates great equanimity through out whatever room it is placed in. Beautiful custom base recently made for this Buddha.
