A favorite, and out of the personal collection of the last princess of the former kingdom of Nan (Her grandfather was the last sitting royal there before they were annexed by Siam). A 15-17thC Northern Thai black stone Buddha with a custom modern silver crown and base. He has a wonderfully expressive face and overall feel. The patina is fantastic, and makes it much easier to authenticate him than the vast majority of stone pieces. 6" tall.
