This is a very wonderful Thai Bronze Naga Buddha. It looks to be 13th century Lopburi style, although it may be a little later. The face is absolutely fantastic. The casting is not refined, and there are significant flaws in the casting, although they do not take away from the spectacular presence of this Buddha. Many Buddhas of this type have more serious expressions, and do not radiate the joy of this piece. He stands 5 and 5/8th to the top of the Naga.
