Rare Antique Bronze Buddha-probably from the south of Thailand. Could be related to late Dvarati style, which would make it in the range of 800 years old. Could be later, though almost certainly at least 300 to 400 years old at minimum. Was purchased with number 7330- which is for sale (similar-just has less gilding remaining) in the 1980.s they were reportedly excavated together in the 1960's. Serene, deep countenance. 1 7/8 inches tall, 3 inches on it's custom base.
