Antique Chinese Quartz Buddha. Great example. 19thC or earlier, as made with old tools- note the ripples, and the use of predominantly straight lines, as they could not cut curves in quartz with the tools they had. Extremely clear piece of quartz. Many Many Quanyin and SE Asian Buddhas are carved in Crystal, but not many Chinese Buddhas like this. Sits 2.5 inches tall, 3.75 inches on custom stand.
