Finely cast Ming style Bronze Buddha. I do not believe it is as old as it appears. If it were, at 20 inches tall, it would be likely sell for $30,000 or more. I purchased it early in my collecting for an extremely high price, and never have been able to bring myself to post it on my website until now., I now believe it is that it is 20th century. It is a Buddha with a strong presence and tremendous beauty. Price is less than 20% of what it would cost if it were a 16th century example. Very impressive at 20 inches tall, 9 inches in diameter, and extremely heavy.
