19thC Burmese Monks. Some splits in metal of bases (part of why I had wood bases custom wood bases made to protect- they also look great!). Monks are large at each approximately 16 inches tall, 19 inches on custom stands. Bottom of stands measure 16 x 12 1/8 inches. Extremely expressive faces that radiate serenity and calm. The best authentic 19thC large pair I have come across in years.
