Powerful Antique Bronze Mongolian Mahakala. This is a true antique example. Some would consider the green in the crevices "bronze disease" as it appears to be actively changing from brown to green, others would consider it part of natural process of aging of patina-likely to get much greener over the next decades, though no danger of serious loss for a very long time.. Wonderful "near miniature" size makes his personality shine through even more than if he were significantly larger-this is in part because small pieces like this are not usually so well wax cast (especially in Mongolia except for the high end ones). Perhaps my favorite bronze version of this form I have offered- the face, posture, and attitude are so distinctive. Stands defiantly at 2 5/8 inches tall, 4.25 inches on custom stand
