11/12th century solid cast bronze Buddha sittong in the "european" style. Fine example, with a deeply contemplative countenance. Originally the figure was probably surrounded with a back plate which contained depictions of iumportant events from the Buddha's life. Sits 6.25 inches tall, 7 3/8 inches on custom stand
