Rare 9/10th Century Cambodian bronze Buddha. Unusually serene countenance for this period. The head was almost certainly cast separately and then attached when originally made- it also looks to have been reattached. Some of the lower legs are absent- this may be an original casting flaw. Still, he is in good condition for such an early piece, with a beautiful face and a fantastic feel. 4 1/8 inches tall by 3 inches wide at the knees and 6.5 inches tall on the custom base. Domestic shipping is included on this item, and international shipping is $50, including packing and insurance.
