17/18thC Cambodian Buddha. Actual Buddha looks to be very thickly cast silver and the base is hollow cast of a bronze alloy or a lower silver content alloy than the body. Unlike almost all of the other high silver content examples I have offered, this one has not been cleaned. It is common for this type to have the base made of lead, bronze, or some less precious metal than the Buddha itself. Sits 4 7/8 inches tall, 6 5/8 inches on custom stand. This is a type particular to Cambodia. Exquisite face.
