A remarkable dancing folk Mahadla from India. I normally do not buy mid-20th century folk pieces, but this piece caught my imagination. Made as a "one of" in a village some where in India to capture the essense of a ritul dance (I think). A successful piece of suclpture, and a great meditiation object.
Stands 6 inches tall (feet to fingertips), 7 inches at widest point, 7.75 inches tall on custom stand.
