Fine 15/16thC Lao Buddha with a "Jade Skin" patina. Large for its type at 9 inches tall, 11 1/8 inches on custom stand. This is a particularly nice example of this type-very well cast and sculpted, nicely finished, great patina, in great condition, and with a really good face. Unusual base, and distinctive finial- this piece has it all.
