Very special early Himalayan Bodhisattva. Extensive ritual wear makes it even more powerful and alive. Size is 3.75 inches tall, 3 1/8 inches wide, 1 5/8 inches deep. 5.25 inches tall on custom base. Probably in the range of 1000 years old. Likely from Nepal, possibly Tibet. Traces of original gilding. Custom base makes it sit more upright. Rare and profound piece with great presence. Another from my original personal collection (and have owned for 25 years). I am offering for a limited time. I am posting many of my most cherished and valuable pieces as I near retirement. They are not inexpensive, but they are each special, very uncommon, authentic pieces, the equivalent of which you are unlikely to find again.
