14/15thC Post Pagan Burmese Buddha. Probably from the Arakan area of western Burma. Uncommon. Sits 5" tall, base is 2.75" x 2" Burmese word inscribed into the base just in front of the lap, This type is much rarer than Shan, Mandalay, Pagan, or other well-known types of Burmese Buddhas.
