Lovely very early style bronze Buddha with remains of several layers of lacquer, as well as remains of lapis in the hair and red on the lips. The blue on the hair is above one layer of lacquer and below another. I believe this is not a period (pre-10thC) piece nor a modern piece, but from somewhere in between- MING? Very hard to date
