Superb 19thC Shan style Burmese Buddha with one of the nicest faces I've ever seen on this type (especially the sensual mouth) This type usually has thin lips, unlike the thick sensuous lips of this one. Great casting and patina. Sits 8.5 inches tall. On custom base sits 10.25 nches tall. Exceptional example. Long time personal favorite. More than other Shan Buddhas, but for a reason.
