Special- Early Buddha sitting in the "European style", with the monkey and elephant at his feet (elephant from this one is missing). This form is unique to Thailand and Laos, and is almost only ever seen from the Rattanakosin period of the 18/19thC. The earlier ones are extremely uncommon, especially from Laos. This one, with the Buddha, base and monkey separately cast, with the quality as wonderful as it is, approaches "museum quality", a term I rarely use. Came out of a high end bay area estate- a number
