17/18thC Stone Korean Buddhist monk in powerfully deep concentration. The surface glistens with gold specks. This piece measures 11 and 7/18" tall when mounted on its museum-style base. Heavy, and larger than the height would suggest. Powerful with a strong presence that is hard to describe. There was possibly a jewel or stone on the forehead at one time.
