16thC Burmese Buddha. This type much rarer than the later Shan and Mandalay types or even the earlier Pagan and Mon ones. They are especially hard to find in nice quality complete decently cast small bronze examples like this one, and, as relatively few seem to have been made except for folk style pieces. It was hard to photograph well, due to the complex patina. Measures approximately 4.5" tall.
