18thC Chinese "Happy Buddha or Hotei. Excellent example, with a gleaming smile. Traces of original gilding remain. Inside has beautiful remains of azurite leeching out of the metal- you can see this in one of the photos. Measures 5 1/8" tall. Truly joyful character.
