Powerful presence to this large, solid-cast Garuda. Looks to have very good age, and is likely 18thC. Sits 9.5 inches tall, and 11 inches with the recently made custom base. Quite heavy, and with significant mass due to his body position and wing span. First of this type of Garuda I've ever come across. Would have probably held a Vishnu statue on the shelf on his back. Personal favorite- he sits in a room with hundreds of Buddhas and Hindu figures, and stands out from all the others, regardless of price or size.
