18/19thC Southern (Yunnan) Chinese Ming Standing Bronze Buddha. Nice size at 11.25 inches tall not including the custom base. Beautiful flowing robes an very unique and large open lotus in his hands. Characteristic large Yunan tall crown and relatively small face. A rare type with a very unusual flower form design on the crown and very distinctive profile to the entire piece. The Crown almost looks like the paper or cloth type with 5 panels that are tied on top of the heads of high Lamas during certain ceremonies. Looks to be 18thC, though could be as late as 19thC. Very hard to find comps to put this next to for comparison as it is such a singular piece. Has a real flow to it.
