13th Century Thailand bronze Buddha. It is from the same period as Angkor Wat in Cambodia, but was done in Thailand --the robes and face are somewhat different, and the face is a bit friendlier. Hard to capture the beauty in the photos. He is large for this type of piece at a full 8 inches tall, 9 inches on its custom base. There is surface wear and loss to the fingers as seen in the photos, but otherwise in complete and unrepaired and untouched condition, with an extraordinary patina.
