Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Small Gandharan figure from a fine old estate collection. Outside my area of expertise, but very much looks to be the real thing. This piece is quite unusual in that there is a baby in her lap holding her breast. Purchased with a group of early miniature and small bronze, stone, and terracotta Buddhist items collected over several decades. 2 3/8" long.
