Rare late 14thC Korean Bronze Buddha, emulating an 8th century style. I only know this as I had a very closely related example that had an inscription dated to the late 1300's. Stands proudly at 5 inches tall with an integrated base measuring 2 inches in diameter. Crisply cast, with high karat gilding (ard to capture in photos). Sweet face is very appealing, and of the best quality. This Buddha has real charisma.
