Powerful solid-cast ascetic monk. One of the most compelling examples of this subject I have encountered to date. This piece measures 3 7/8 inches tall x 2 1/2 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches deep. Hard to date, but based on level of wear, casting, and finishing methods (and overall look and feel), likely 18thC or earlier (and almost certainly 19thC at the minimum). Cast out of a high-quality alloy. Has the presence of a much larger figure.
