Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Beautiful early 20thC Tibetan tantric deity in union with consort. Some losses and repairs as can be seen in the photos, but overall a compelling piece of spiritual art. While not as early as many items on my site, the intense yet serene central (blue) face is as beautifully carved and has as much impact as any on my site. The piece stands 12 inches tall, 8.75 inches wide
