Very good pair of Mongolian or Tibetan altar banners. They depict a famous story of animals attempting to reach fruit on a tree- none of the animals can do it alone- when the monkey climbs on the elephant's back, a rabbit climbs on the monkey, and the bird climbs on the rabbit's back,together they can accomplish the task. The part with the animals is attached to a beautiful floral background. Large at 64 inches at the longest part. Outstanding condition for this type of piece. Beautiful colors and design.
