Best of my collection, this is of the earliest of all Walking Buddhas- A 13th/early 14th C Sukhothai Walking Buddha with a rounded body with defined buttocks, short, thick, well-formed limbs leading to elegant yet broad hands, and wide, thick feet. Later, Sukothai's sculpture became more stretched out and overall more remote- this fellow is warm, loving, and completely available. Not inexpensive, but rare, large, in great condition. He is also beautiful, spiritually potent, and a highly sought-after type. Measures 26 1/2 inches tall with the base (base is 2 inches tall x 7 1/2 inches across x 8 inches deep). Without the base 24 inches tall x 7 inches across x 6 inches deep.
