An all-time favorite. A genuine Burmese Pagan-period stone Buddha, depicted in deep concentration, with a presence that fills the room. Traces of the original red, black, and white polychrome still cling to the body—an extremely rare survival. While the vast majority of Burmese stone Buddhas on the market are modern emulations, this is authentic Pagan, with every hallmark of early carving, age, and devotional history.



The sculpture has a strong, centered stillness and looks particularly striking when placed on a high platform, where its contemplative expression can be fully appreciated. A very special and spiritually powerful piece. Measures 10 inches tall, or 11.5 inches on its custom stand.
