Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Rare 19th century bhutanese tantric bronze. I purchased this and two other remarkable Buddhist bronzes from Bhutan That were only like those I had seen in books or catalogs. I am offering them separately, but it would be wonderful if someone would buy them all and keep them as a set. Remarkably, the two that originally had implements in their hands (including this one) still retain them. Remaining cold paint on faces and poly chrome on remainder appears to be original.
