Delightful Edo period bronze figure of Tekkai with Elixirs. This piece came to me with a group of Chinese pieces. They all had old tags from the shop they came from that must have been closed down. This one has an old price tag with 750 dollars on it. The figure is very well sculpted and cast, and the finishing and patina are first rate. The expressiveness of the face is exceptional. No damage or repairs. He stands a little over 4 and 1/2 inches high and over 3 and 1/2 inches wide at the base
