Wonderful antique bronze lizard sculpture. Appears to have originally been a base or stand for some other object. I am not positive that this is Asian- I was so impressed by the quality of the casting -look at the minute scales on the back of the figure -the casting sculpting and finishing are done to the highest level. he has tiny Opal eyes. he has sat on my desk for more than 30 years, waiting to find the perfect sculpture 2 set on him as a stand come up but thus far the perfect sculpture has not come along. Therefore I have decided to find him a new home. H: 1.125" (2.8575cm)
