Rare Ansel Adams Photograph of a Buddha image. It is the largest of the few known examples of this image- After extensively searching I've found only two others -each of which was 1/4 the size of this one. Authentic, early, signed example in excellent condition. Done in beautiful sepia tones. Photos of the back were done before recent re-framing with museum glass. This is an early original one- the Buddha belonged to the gentleman who funded Adam's early work in Yosemite Park. Size of actual image is 10.5 x 15 x .1 ---- Matt size 25.5 x 19.5 x 1 --- Frame size 29.5 x 23.25 x 1 I had another very example of the same image (now sold) which I purchased 20 years ago-Item 4614
